2008 ArtsTech Award Nominations Open July 7

The 2008 Technology in the Arts Conference convenes representatives from the full spectrum of arts community, from the local to national levels, to explore the intersection of the arts and technology. In honor of this exploration, the ArtsTech Awards recognize three categories of leaders in the arts and technology: artists, arts organizations and funding organizations. CAMT to Present at Arts Northwest Conference

Brad Stephenson, CAMT's director of projects and marketing, will present three workshops for the Arts Northwest conference in Eugene, OR, October 13-16, 2008. Brad's sessions are Podcasts for Audience Engagement, Technology Planning for Arts Organizations and Web 2.0: What it Really Means. CAMT and the University of Waterloo Present Technology in the Arts: Canada

Carnegie Mellon's Center for Arts Management and Technology recently partnered with the Centre for Cultural Management at the University of Waterloo to present Technology in the Arts: Canada 2008. The conference was held May 9-10, 2008, on UW's campus in Waterloo, Ontario. David Dombrosky, CAMT's executive director, coordinated conference programming; Brad Stephenson, CAMT's director of projects and marketing, presented a podcasting workshop; and Josh Futrell, CAMT's client support specialist, lectured on Web content management.
